"Ephemeral Beauty" is a fashion photography project that explores the delicate balance between strength and vulnerability in the concept of beauty. Through the use of fashion design and styling by @nozomi_yamanami, model and performance by @robyn.gamston, and hair and makeup by @sakurakanaoka_mua, this project showcases the transience of beauty, and how it can be both fleeting and enduring.
As the photographer and art director for this project, my aim was to capture the essence of this balance through the use of light and shadow, as well as the careful selection of angles and poses. The styling and makeup choices were also important in portraying the contrast between strength and vulnerability, with bold elements combined with softer touches.
The result is a series of images that are both ethereal and powerful, showcasing the beauty of the moment while acknowledging its impermanence. Through this project, we hope to inspire viewers to appreciate the fleeting nature of beauty and to recognize the strength that comes with embracing vulnerability.
